PyneTree Paper Co.
« on: November 11, 2015, 03:30:04 PM »
My Granddaddy used to tell me they would cut pulpwood with a crosscut saw and ax.  This must have been where he sold it.  Was once the a major mill, with its own village of houses for its employees, went down during the great depression.

With inflation it works out to $86.67/cord. So things haven't really changed: logging is a tough business to make a living at.
