skid steer engine
« on: March 09, 2016, 12:59:14 AM »
I have a JD 570 /New Holland L454 skid steer loader that is in dire need of a replacement engine.
The original engine was  2 cyl., watercooled Continental. The optional engine was a 3cyl Kubota both in the 30 HP range.
Any suggestions where something like these could be found. The 2 cyl. is out of production.
Would really like to not have to reinvent the wheel in order to fit it in there Thx for any info, advise...

Sorry about that SSM but I guess my edit didn't take, in which I said that there was a hole in the side of block.

Over the road, refrigerated truck trailers, used small diesel engines, I don't know the Hp, but you might check with a truck salvage yard to see if they have something you could use.
