Just made reservations at Countryside Campground.  Hidden Hill is booked full for the weekend and not available.    Kitty and I Plan on arriving Thursday evening the 4th.  We're already in the count up above, so no increase in the number.

Has anyone ever stayed at Countryside Campground? I guess I waited too long for Hidden Hill.

Haven't stayed there either but Good Sam Club rates it 9/10/9 on a 1 to 10 scale for each category.    Also receive 10% Good Sam member discount.

I called Hidden Hill and they found me a site so I won't be needing Countryside but will want to hear about it for the future.

I just got news that the carriage house Inn has reopened!  I found a facebook page. All I know so far, but that used to be the very best place to stay.

I have waited to reply to this year's Pigroast thread as I was intent on coming, but family events loomed as conflicts.  My daughter, who just graduated from college, has taken a job as a Spanish teacher at a school in Connecticut.  Unfortunately, her "move-in" is that weekend.  She can't get into her apartment on campus prior to that, and she's expected to be there that Monday for the start of her orientation.  So I'm moving stuff to Connecticut that Friday-Saturday-Sunday, and regrettably will not be there this year.

The good news is that, starting this January, I will be significantly less burdened at work, and my schedule will allow such enjoyable trips.  So, count me out for this year, as it is my loss (not yours), and I'll see you next August.
