Logrite T36 Tractor Class Logging Arch - *****SOLD*****
« on: June 20, 2016, 04:47:21 PM »
Arch has been sold locally through craigslist.....

Like new.  I really enjoyed it and makes moving logs a breeze.   Has the electric brakes option and a hand winch.  It has a front and rear receiver for mounting an electric winch.  The only reason I am selling is I now have a skid-steer and a trailer and no longer need it.    It was used occasionally to move logs on my own property, and a few times on the road a few miles.    Tires hold air just fine.  Seriously - it is very near to new and you will not be disappointed.

Brand new they are pricey - $3250 (with shipping).  I am asking $2200. Price drop:  $1495

Specs:

Log Capacity:     36" diameter
Length Capacity:  18' fully suspended
Weight Capacity:  6000 pounds
Arch Width:       69"
Arch Length:      147"
Arch Height:      59"
Arch Weight:      550 lbs

Manufacturer's link:  http://www.Logrite.com/store/Item/tractor-arches

**Also for sale locally on craigslist....

Couple updates:  Please note the price drop to 1495.   I have a nearly new SuperWinch Tiger Shark 9500 winch on a receiver hitch plate mount that I might be willing to sell as a package deal.  Use it on the rear receiver to pull logs to the arch and in the front receiver to string and raise the logs.  Works great.

What would be the minimum recommended size for a trailer to haul this arch  up to Virginia on I-81

Sorry Trevor - just now noticed you post.   I have a flatbed 1 ton truck with a 10' bed and that truck carried it home 100 miles over the interstate with no problems.   I would not use an 8' trailer but any 10'-12' trailer could handle it fine.

Thanks for the question!

Hi NCD - how far off the ground can you get a 24 to 30 in log?   (Wondering if this would be able to load the log onto a low trailer.).

Unless the log is real long or your ramps are real short you can usually back a log onto a trailer.  I usually park the trailer pointing downhill(or against a bank), load from the uphill side and use long ramps.   At the vary least you can almost always get one end of the log up on the trailer and can use a come-along to winch it the rest of the way.

To answer your question more directly:  It has always appeared to me to raise a full capacity log - one that barely fits between the wheels (~36") - about 12" off the ground.  So a 24"-30" log would be about 1.5'-2' off the ground.

Hope this helps!

are you moving to a logging winch or?  When you say North Western NC how far are you from Wytheville?  Could you bring it there?

I don't do any logging per-se, just occasionally have to move a log to the mill.   Last summer I had to acquire Bobcat for other reasons, so I am using that more and more for logs.   Just don't use the arch like I used to.

I'm near Winston-Salem so I can deliver to Wytheville - will only kill a morning for me to do that.
