Plano, Tx A little help please?
« on: June 27, 2016, 08:27:37 PM »
My son lives in Plano Texas.  They want to put a new counter on a breakfast bar in their kitchen.  If he were by me, I would do it in Black walnut, but at 1000 miles away that's not going to happen given his time frame.  What I'm wondering if there are any member in the Plano area that I could put him in contact with. At the very least, someone with a mill that could sell him some slabs, or even someone who could do the whole job.  I told him it should be figured hardwood preferably dark but definately Hardwood.  If anyone can help, message me and I'll put you 2 together.

I saw some very nice timber mesquite on the interstate south of Wichita Falls.
Manage 80 acre tree farm in central Missouri and Mesquite timber and about a gozillion saguaros in Arizona.
