Hey guys... i had let my mill sit over tje hot summer only starting once or twice.
Its a harbor freight model.. and has worked decently.. still learning on.
While i was doing a precheck and getting it ready to cut some cedar planks i noticed this defect in the blade.
Opinions?

Crank back up and make some dust
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

Isn't that the weld spot?
Think so I was looking at a small void along the back of beam of the blade, I figure saw till it gives way

Looks to me like it's just the weld... not a defect.

Sitting out in the sun should not hurt the mill... sitting out in the rain is entirely different.

That's the welded joint on your blade.  It's an ugly one, but that's what it is.  Read reply #1.  :)
