Lots to saw at the mill but decided to cook today for the family.

I saw this on another site and decided to give it a try.

Got the Crock Pot out and covered the bottom in Onions.

Then sliced up some Granny Smith Apples and covered the Onions.

I then took a Pork Loin and cut slits in it and inserted Apple Slices and placed the Loin in the Crock Pot.

I then added Salt, Pepper, Honey and Thyme Sprigs.

Slow cook for 8-10 hours.

I'll serve it up with some of my Dad's farm raised Sweet Taters and Green Beans.
Sweet Tea and Lemon Wedge.

Paul is gonna invite his hunting buddy over for supper. Good meal tonight and get up early to hunt a few Coyotes.

You're invited Jeff. A good Southern Meal and in the morning you may get a "Talking Coyote".  :D

Sure looks good. Even I could make that, my cooking skills are somewhat limited. :D

Never heard of pickled bologna. Can't remember seeing it in a store around here. Will look next time at store.
Give me a new saw chain and I can find you a rock in a heartbeat.

Danny, the look on your face reminded me of the look on Jeff's face when he tried grits.
