I visited Kings Landing over 40 years ago. It was truly a fantastic experience.  I spent a good part of the day at the mill taking with the Sawyer and Miller. As a result he gave me a personal tour through the entire building.  The experience was one I still remember and was the start of a long journey that I hope to complete in the near future and become a sawyer myself.

Here’s a video of building a bridge.  I cut the black locust timbers you see them unloading at the 43min mark from the yellow penske truck.

At 53 minutes in you can see the blue spraypaint on the end of a white oak timber thats how I mark my logs.  I had run out of black locust log and I had one 16’ beautiful white oak log that ended up making just enough to finish the order.
