Brother in S. Wis. just got bid of $100 each for 10 standing walnut trees about 18"DBH.  Sounds way too low to me - what would be a fair price?

Just sold 40,000 bf of walnut in central wi last month, it went for 2.25 a bf average. Diameter was about that size and up. Make sure to leave them tree length. Good luck

Impossible question without a lot more info, exact tree size, location and many other factors will determine value. What is the potential sellers motivation for selling. 10 trees isn't going to interest a lot unless they are real nice

Or theyre already bucked(+trim) on the landing and the buyer gets to be SURE theyre sound.

The only reasonable way to get a better estimate of the fair market value is to have multiple bids submitted for the same trees. The more bids you can get, the better. As Hans pointed out, it's an impossible question to answer via the web.
