Another Rite Leg Table
« on: June 11, 2017, 04:46:10 PM »
So I tried out a new stain from Home Depot this weekend and digging it for outside furniture.  No clue what the wood was that I glued up but it's heavy and grain was sweet.  Left the grit marks from 36, quick blast with 80 and then right to 150.

2 coats of stain with 220 in between and after...then two coats of clear rub on minwax wax clear gloss poly. If anyone has the hankering for some outside porch furniture give this stain a shot. I am thinking a bowl on the lathe would come out great with this in the outside.

The wood is ash.  Nice table.
