Junkyard dogs
« on: August 02, 2017, 04:21:57 PM »
I had ANOTHER saw given to me, a Homey XL-76 that didn't run. The guy brought his dead Husky 394 for assessment, no compression. He is an ex faller, he should have picked up on that but anyways.
The points style Homey had no spark, I stripped a parts saw for it's solid state and it barks like a big dog. I was so pleased with myself I took on a Husky 65 that wouldn't start, replaced the rope and adjusted the carb. The owner doesn't want to use it, no chain brake. This is going to be a problem when I have to move in the spring. ::)

Next time through to Abbotsford I could stop by and relieve you of some of dat trouble???   :)

I sure enjoyed bringing saws to life while I had my shop but now I find I'd rather just run them. Not sure what's wrong. Enjoy the dogs!
