Made a delivery
« on: August 06, 2017, 07:38:32 PM »
Made a delivery today
I had a disabled veteran call me a couple of weeks ago looking for (90) 1x6x8 clear pine.
Told him a price and he agreed but had no way to pick it up.I agreed to deliver it.
I made (30) extra for him for serving our country .
He was tickled and I left with home made jam and jelly.
The house he was restoring was beautiful .
190 miles round trip and a new friend .

My daughter is a disabled veteran (aircraft mechanic, United States Air Force).  Personally, I never miss an opertunity to thank any veteran I meet.

Thanks Bruno.

Our last visit (too short) in N.H. was with Bruno of NH.  Jim has a very promising startup sawmilling and lumber business and I predict that he will do well.  Pat and I both enjoyed visiting with him and leaving was difficult.  This guy has a true heart and I wish that we could have stayed longer.

Sir, it is my honor to call you a Friend.

I think we some times forget what these people go through . It's just a small way for me to thank them for their service.
