Hi there, just wondering if anyone has experience using the chain saw style circular blades ( not sure the proper name) on a forestry clearing saw as opposed to the solid steel circular blades. I had never heard of the type with a replaceable chain before, talked to someone who was raving about how good it was, curious to how they compare. Preferably someone who have used both professionaly. Thanks

Welcome to the forum!! I used to sell a few but they were not overly popular, the teeth would break off creating a safety hazard. Standard saw chain cutters wouldn't fit so the blade was junked.

" not overly popular, teeth would break off creating a safety hazard"  thats basically all I needed to know haha, thanks for your reply. Haven't seen any at the local dealers so probably wouldent have tried it out, just curious, as I had never heard of that type of blade before.
