Pure New York State Maple Syrup
« on: September 14, 2017, 05:40:30 PM »
I just packed more maple syrup yesterday and this morning. I have just a little Amber in qts only, and I have a decent supply of my best seller, the Dark, in half gallons at $27, Qts @ $17 and Pints @ $10. I do also have gallons but for local sales only because I can ship 2 half gallons for less than I can ship 1 gallon jug. I also have bourbon barrel aged maple syrup in 6.76 Fl Oz (200ml) bottles @ $12 each. Any of these will make a great Christmas present, Order Now. I do still also have just 1 more SS barrel (26.5 gal) of dark to pack when needed but that's it until the 2018 season. Oh, I also have 1 more Oak bourbon barrel (10 gal) aging for another few weeks to re stock my bourbon barrel aged maple syrup when it has aged to perfection.
As in the past, the Forestry Forum will receive 5% from all online syrup sales. Be sure to mention that you are a FF member or you saw this ad on the Forestry Forum, even non members earn the 5% for the FF as long as I know you ordered from this ad.
For any of these, please go to:   www.cnymaple.com
You can place an order directly on the website. Please be sure to indicate "where did you hear about us" and click on "the Forestry Forum" at the bottom of the order page, that is how I mark a sale as generated by the FF so the FF gets their 5% of the product net amount.

Christmas orders should be made by Dec. 10 to guarantee delivery by Christmas. I ship the next day after I get an order but the last time I check for orders is about 7PM E.S.T.

4 more half gallons going out tomorrow, 2 go to a friend of the parents of a FF member, thus the FF gets their cut, the other goes to a friend of my old next door neighbor who moved from NY to Az, sorry no FF cut.

I just put up a new website   www.cnymaple.com  . Within a day or 2 my shameless link on the opening page will be updated. The new name is just to make it both easier to remember and type. My new site now has a shopping cart and the whole transaction can be completed on the site. It takes cards, PayPal and you can still send a check. If you are sending a check, send me a PM and FF member orders get shipped the next business day, I don't need to wait to see the check. (all others are held for the check). In the store on my new site you can even see how many I have available except, if I have product left in SS barrels it does not show.
Remember, if you want to order for Christmas, please order by 12/10 because last minute orders sometimes can slow the shipping down, both on my end and certainly with the Post Office, since I ship by USPS.

Hi,
Ordered some dark and the vest pocket sized bourbon barrel.  I look forward to drenching pancakes and French toast with it.  If the dark is robustly strong, then I will use it to spike the generic Kroger swill that my wife buys.  Gourmet + swill = still pretty darn good.
Wall
Update:  Just made pancakes this am.  Applied the dark, robust syrup directly to the pancakes.  It was excellent.  Good stuff!

Are you the order placed late last evening? That one was from a FF member. If yes, it ships out tomorrow, if not, I didn't get your order, please go to    www.cnymaple.com   and place the order. Be sure to tell me you heard about my syrup on the FF.

When you order at    www.cnymaple.com   be sure to click on a forestry Forum box to answer how you found us. My program tallies the FF orders automatically for the net mdse amount and I send 5% to DA Boss.

I had my best summer/early fall of any year since I started making syrup enough to sell. Locally my sales tripled and I expect the online orders will pick up soon. Normally I only pack from in a SS barrel to retail size containers once a summer, then 1 or last year 3 times from October til Christmas. This summer I had to pack more 3x. I will also be packing more either this week or next because I am out of Dark pints completely and the qts and half gal are both getting low. At this time I only have 4 barrels (each SS barrel holds 26.5 gal) of dark left. It is possible if the sales go up more than in previous seasons I may run out of dark before Christmas. If that happens I will not have any until the 2019 season starts, which can be anywhere from late Jan to as late as late March depending on the weather. In the past my first boil has ranged from Jan 25 to as late as March 27. Typical it starts slow in mid Feb and does not flow well until March. It all depends on when I get cold nights (below 27 F is best) and warm days (40-50 F is best).
