Hope all goes well. It's been my experience that bouncing is painful.

The ER can be a difficult place.  Would be a good subject for a movie.  Hopefully you made out OK.

Wait time in ER was long.   Nancy was diagnosed with a broken rib.  Doctor and nurse explained how make the best of it until it heals and prescribed pain meds that she needed.  She has had a pretty good pain tolerable day today.  Praise the Lord and thanks for everyone's prayers.

I had to wear a corsett for three ribs broken from my backbone, but that was in 1954.  I do not believe that they do anything now.

Check out St Jude childrens Research hospital in Memphis Tn. Wonderful place, one of the few charities I support as much as I can...
x2  several years ago our neighbor had a niece with the same thing and they lived in knoxville and would stop and spend the night when they were traveling to memphis so we got to know them very well over 2-3 years they were back and forth. the little girl was cured 8) 8)!!!  and st jude didnt charge 1 penny  plus paid their travel expenses and furnished them a place to stay while they were here and even covered the food! :o these folks were in a hard spot though and couldnt have doneit without the help. the only reason i told that story is i didnt know if you knew about st jude but money is truly no object if you go there.

Willie now has a spot of pneumonia which must be addressed/treated before any further chemo can be administered.

Please continue to uplift him in your Prayers.

Went back to UAB last Monday, had chemo treatment. On Tuesday after test I went into the hospital with pneumonia. Got to come home on Thursday after treating the pneumonia. The cancer is not responding to the chemo after 11 treatments. The side effects have been terrible. We have decided to stop the treatments since they have been almost unbearable without helping reduce the cancer. Cancer cells have actually increased over the past month. Chemo has not improved my quality of life at all. I had some friends, guys from our church, saw the oak I had on yard last week, still have probably 7-8 thousand ft of logs to saw, would love to get sawed. Still working on day if I can get volunteers. With what Dr is telling me I could have weeks to maybe months to live, don't know Thank you for your thoughts, well wishes. and prayers.

Willie, I haven't had a lot to say here but you are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray for your comfort and strength, and remind the Good Lord that a little miracle would be a nice thing.  ;)

Willie, praying for peace in your heart as you look forward to a new life where pain and toil are no more.  We'll miss you here, but I'd love to say Howdy on the other side.  In the meantime, enjoy whatever number of days, weeks, or months you have left doing whatever it is you love doing best.
