Hi guys,

Thanks so much for your patience and your continued interest in the snatch blocks. It may seem like I've been ignoring this thread, but there's been a lot going on behind the scenes. I've been in touch with a few members by PM and am now ready to commit to more of the snatch blocks to be ready for delivery in a week or so. They are being powder coated, now and then will only need final assembly. I will make a full explanation and announcement next week, but would appreciate if those wishing to order now would reply to this thread. I appreciate that some of those who committed earlier may have lost interest due to the extended time period. With the upcoming post and explanation I'll provide full ordering instructions. Jeff has been kept abreast of happenings and the forum will continue to receive their due.
    Thanks again!

Greg

I will take one.  How do you wish to be paid?

Given the length of this and the time that has passed since the statrt I would suggest starting a new thread for the current interest, and to drive home the commission to the site.

Risk is losing some who follow this thread.
A new thread might just add confusion to those already following, and not be any more visible than this thread. IMO.

I’d like to apologize for going so long without updating this post. I have been following the thread closely but didn’t have all of the information available to share until just now.
We received a significant order for the snatch blocks from a Forestry products distributor. From the beginning it has been his intention to offer special consideration to the Forestry Forum members who have shown continuing interest in one of the snatch blocks. We have kept Jeff apprised of the situation, and with his blessing would like to make the following announcement:
ForestWinches.com is an online store handling sales of winches and accessories such as the US-Made Self-Releasing Snatch Blocks. The store's owner, Scott Bagley, is offering special pricing on the blocks for Forestry Forum users who place orders prior to June 21st 2014. He has 25 set aside for Forum members, but will honor the special pricing on more units, depending on interest.

As is policy for commercial activity attributable to the Forum, Scott will provide 5% of proceeds back to the Forum. The special price for Forum users is $179, which is a $100 discount from retail. Each user is limited to two units.

Directions for ordering the US-Made Self-Releasing Snatch Blocks

1. PM Scott to receive a coupon code to use when checking out. Scott’s forum ID is llsathens.

2. After receiving the code, visit ForestWinches.com to complete your order. The price will stay at $279 until the code is input on the same page where you will provide payment details.

3. You can also pay by check by contacting Scott by PM here http://www.forestryforum.com/board/index.php?action=profile;u=25292

We have found Scott great to work with, and I’m certain you will too.

Thanks for all of the interest!

If I've done this correctly, here's a clickable link to Scott Bagley: llsathens

Once there, just click on "Send PM" under his username.

[NOTE: corrected typo in Scott's username as it was displayed. It did not affect the link, which operated correctly]

Just a quick clarification. John Mc posted a clickable link to my username that works (thanks John Mc) but is spelled with an "i" in it. If you are trying to manually input my username, please note the first two letters are "l"s (lowercase "L"s) so it is llsathens.

Also, we do ship north of the border for our Canadian friends.

Thanks,
Scott
