Why i waited this long is any ones guess! Never been this happy driving a truck in a long time!!!!!!!! Just step down on the thorrtle and things are all alive!!! Gained 2 gears on the hills! To some that 1.55mpg ain't much , bur I know that it is a whole lot at the end of the year. And those gears you no more need to use sure is plaesure and the end of the day.  :) :)

That sounds like about 30% better fuel economy. 8) A lot of people don't believe it, but the easier a truck works, the better it is in the long run, as long as you use the extra power appropriately.

I think i will average 1 mpg gain on my fuel milage! Was getting around 4.0 to 4.30! Was costing me around 1 dollar a mile  just for fuel!  Should save around 20 cents a mile now! Doing 400 miles aday gives me 80 bucks back in my hind pocket!

It adds up real quick and the return on the money put out is not far down the road .  8)

Just curious if you see your mileage drop when you go from summer to winter blend diesel? Over the years in my 7.3L pickup I consistently see about a 1.5 mpg drop in the winter.

Woodhauler, just curious as to what all you had to do?  I'd like to think I could get that out of my little 318, but I know better  :D :D
