Stihl 034 AV early edition

My first post on here be gentle !!

I have a 034 bought for parts, I have found that it has the older 46mm cylinder and piston, the cylinder is heavily scored so cannot be used again.

A replacement 46mm cylinder is hard to find, will the later 48mm cylinder and piston fit ?

With a 48 mm cylinder/piston it basically becomes an 034 super .I've never done exactly that but I have used an 036 cylinder .
So in a nut shell since the IPL only lists one size of crankcase it could be assumed the 034 super cylinder would work .With the 036 cylinder you would need to use spacers on the muffler and the plastic is not an exact fitment .Saying all that with either a super set up or an 036 it certainly peps that thing up .I've got a super waiting the wings I need to go through when I find the time to do it .
