98 lt 40 electrical problems

So 98 lt40 the Kohler g25 starts dieing when putting an electrical load on it. Started with the use of hydraulics and now even moving the head. Except reverse for some reason. New battery, alternator seems to be working fine, keeps battery charged up . Just cleanined the contact strip. Just hopping someone has seen this before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if you mean the engine dies in rpm or cuts out.

If you know you have a good alt and battery(tested) then begin by checking all the connections and grounds working from the battery out. Bad grounds cause a lot of electrical problems.

I too would second cables, and ground connections.
