I'm considering getting the Shelter Institute online timber framing program but wanted to see what else was out there. Any suggestions?

Heartwood is one of the best.

Would love to do a 3 week course but to be able to swing 3 weeks off from work....that's a tough one.

As for price is that $3500 total for the 3 week course or $3500 deposit and another $3500 for tuition? The site is not very clear.

I haven't reviewed the list online, but they usually have one week courses.

Hancock Shaker Village in western Mass hosts a five day hands-on class every September. Jack Sobon, Neil Godden, and Dave Carlon are the instructors. I took it, as well as my brother and wife. We all got a lot out of it.

Here's an old flyer I found on the website: https://hancockshakervillage.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/here.pdf
