I have a firewood conveyor that has 2 #55 conveyor chains with cross bars.How much tension are you supposed to have on the chain?

Just enough so it can't jump the sprockets .
A bunch of chainsaws a BT6870 processer , TC 5 International track skidder and not near enough time
