Loose bandwheel

I found that the idol side of my band wheel loose yesterday. I retork it but havent try it yet. Dont really know how long its been loose, besides vibration, would it cause anything else.

It's amazing that your blades  have been tracking.  May be that the gyroscopic action helped to straighten it up.

Gyroscopic, wow what a word, Tom. ;D Even if I look it up I still probably wouldnt understand what it means. :D
Havent had any problems with the tracking, I did notice a little vibration with the carriage. Going to saw today, should be a true test today for my mill. The oak logs have been laying for 5 years. :o

Better take a plenty of blades old dry oak is a blade eater .

Blade eaters they are. :o I milled 800 BF today and only used 5 blades. ::) :D Couple of hickory and pine tomorrow, better take about 20 blades. ;D
