I've been looking at repairing my current blade, it's been welded too many times, as well as replacing bushings but estimates have been pretty pricey. I have a chance to pick up a 440C blade in great condition. Everything lines up and fits the D but it's about a foot less wide and three inches less long (pins to blade). Anything I'm missing here or would it be a good replacement?
Well, if it fits and it works, then it's a "good" replacement. ffsmiley
Good point. I guess I could have worded that differently, wondering if anybody had tried it.
Got it hooked up and found that the three inch difference didn't allow a full detraction of blade cylinders before coming into contact with the cowl. Just something to be aware of.
Question answered.
