Just wanted to say Hi, have read a lot on here but haven't posted much.  I have a woodland mill that I built a trailer for and just cut for my own use.

Take steps to save steps.

If it won't roll, its not a log; it's still a tree.  Sawmills cut logs, not trees.

Sawing is fun for the first couple million boards.

Welcome, lots of good people and info here. never

Thanks for all the welcomes, them boards are 18in wide.  I needed some side boards for my dump trailer that I haul firewood with, didn't use them all so will cut them down to the with I need for box stalls for the horses I'm building inside the barn.  That will be a winter project so will post some pictures after I get them done.

Thecfarm I can cut a hair over 21feet. I needed to be mobile because I really do not have a good place to put the mill permanent and wanted to cut more than the ten feet it come factory so that is the reason for the trailer. I never put springs on the trailer because I have no intention on pulling it down the road but will probably regret it.  I can always add them later if need be.

that is the same thing we done to my hudson mill :) did it before it sawed a log ;D it will cut 21'6 the reason for that length was so we could handle 20' without having to much trouble trying to position the log :)

Goose,  yes I am the one that talked to you on the phone earlier this summer.  How did that trailer turn out you bought from that buddy of mine?  I hope you jewed him down a little.  I was down at NDrancher's(I think that is his user name) place the other day to get a cedar pole to make that siding for my house and he said he talked to you when you came out for the trailer.
