I am Looking to find out what the price for standing pine trees should be , at least some idea of what I should pay for them.
Appreciate any help you guys can give me.

Jeffroe,
It depends on the species of the tree and its size, as well as its location, the time of year, the shape of the tree, the competing buyers and a myriad of other things.  The price of stumpage can change daily.

Your local county forester would be the best one to ask for a general ballpark figure from time to time. Some trees are in the way of development and can be gotten for free.  Some trees are "so" in the way that you will be paid to take them.  Some are in a stand of prime saw logs, poles or veneer and will cost you an arm and a leg.

I know that this isn't the end answer to your question but it is offering a direction for you to get it.

In our area of the Ozarks,  it appears to range from $7/ton to around 25/ton for standing SYP depending on size and quality.

 I'm paying $80. to $100. mbf on the stump, depending on the quality.
I have payed as little as $35. for pulp.

here in tenn pine plup geos for 6to7.00 a ton and saw logs 10" and up go for about 15.00 a ton

Round here ponderosa pine was going for $150 a thousand last I heard.
