The last week after work i have been ripping some 6x6 beams out of red oak. First i flatted the top with a alaskan mill then i use a knock off of a hadden lumber maker that they sell at harbor freight (lumber marker) to square up the sides. While making the vertical cuts i would cut and spit cut and cuss dust going everywere. I would try to come into the house at dark (wife makes me strip and hose off) looking like i had been drug through the dirt.
Then last night near dark i remebered seeing a picture of someone using a mini mill and it looked like they were using the top of the blade. So i set up my next cut and pulled the saw through instead of pushing it. MAN it seemed to cut twice as fast and the dust went to the ground instead of in my collar and ears and
Well at least i caught it while the wife still lets me come inside.

GMTA  :D

I just posted about how I cut with the top of my chain for extra speed and how I angled the mill downhill slightly so I did not have to push or pull it.
