Maybe I missed?  How do I look at another member's Gallery?

Click on the gallery icon at the top of the page, then click on the user's gallery and scroll to you find the person you want to see pictures of and click on them.

There is currently no good way, but maybe I can pick @lurk s  brain and see what he thinks. Possible in a tp block maybe?
I can change my profile okay. No errors. If you can,t remove all the extra info in other fields and try.

If I click on a picture that is in a member's Gallery, then I can easily access his
gallery, but there are so many pictures being posted that are not from galleries.

Yes, using the forum "attach" function only stores the image in that post. But it's integrated into the forum software, so easier for people to use.  The Gallery is a separate piece of software that had to be used before the forum software was updated to the newer version. Using it is still encouraged, but not mandatory. It's useful if you think you might want to reuse pictures in future posts, you don't have to upload another copy. You can point your post to the gallery image as many times as you like, and there is still only one copy of it on the server. 
Weekend warrior, Peterson JP test pilot, Dolmar 7900 and Stihl MS310 saws and  the usual collection of power tools :)
