so is their realy any performance difference a 036 with screw on gas and oil caps vs a 036 with the quick caps? or they the same porting and timing just updated tanks?
As far as i'm aware, the 036 only has one spec sheet. You'd get better performance by keeping the air filter clean and doing the regular maintenance on the saw, and keeping the chain sharp in particular. A good 60 cc saw is a good 60 cc saw and not much more can be said about that, IMO.
I'm thinking that the flippy cap version was a MS360 . Same engine. I have had a bunch of both of them and can't tell any difference.
