Title: Calling residents from the 26th State
Post by: SW_IOWA_SAWYER on August 02, 2004, 10:09:40 AM

That would be Michigan (I had to look it up) ;)
I am planning on driving up to visit my sister in the Battle Creek area. I would like to bring back some Cherry logs and perhaps some Buttternut. Can any of you folks in Michigan tell me what the going price is for cherry and butternut logs. If you have any folks that I could contact to purchase from that would be great too. I have one so far, but it can't hurt to look around.

Thanks

You might give these guys a call, they mill & dry most of the lumber they sell. Maybe they will give you the number for a logger to buy from.

I could sell you some Cherry lumber. I'm located about an hour west of Battle Creek.
Never seen any Butternut around here though.
