Surprise!
« on: September 07, 2023, 10:06:17 AM »
While adjusting the guides on "Tom" the Baker sawmill this morning, I was surprised when something started licking my ear.....  I don't know about y'all,  but that's not something that happens frequently around my sawmill!

Turns out my GSD / Malinois rescue Maya had decided to jump up on a partially milled log and come over to say hi to Dad.

Life around a sawmill is never dull, to say the least....

Great story.
Two LT70s, Nyle L200 kiln, 4 head Pinheiro planer, 30" double surface Cantek planer, Lucas dedicated slabber, Slabmizer, and enough rolling stock and chainsaws to keep it all running.

That's a great picture of you and your dog. Print it out and frame it.

Well, she's back at it!

Tom blew a hydraulic line this morning and one of my employees and I were routing in a replacement hose.

Maya decided to come up and join us (without being asked) and be a part of the action.

My other employee saw the photo op and took the shot.

Fun times at the sawmill!
