Bulk trash pickup tomorrow and my wife spotted a great find this morning.  Two large butcher-block type table tops.   Maybe 2" thick.  I was thinking maple but I don't really know.

They are a bit beatup and have a big hole drilled in one side, but I should get a few projects out of them  8)

Yeah - we were shocked to see them stacked at the curb with the garbage. 

We put 3 beatup bicycles out with the trash yesterday and one was immediately taken.  One man's trash... :)

My relpading bench is a butcher block that came out of a kitchen on the north slope. It is 4 inches thick 30 inches wide and 5 feet long and HEAVY.  I didn't get it out of the trash, but paid a whole 10 bucks for it at an estates auction.
Old LT40HD, old log truck, old MM forklift, and several huskies.
