Title: Logosol Timberjig
Post by: meazlejr on June 27, 2005, 10:51:02 PM
Hi ya'll,
I am not sure if I am posting in the right place but the Mods have been super helpful in steering me in the right direction so far.  I have used the search option for info on the timberjig but didnot get much.  So if you have one what do you think.  The reason I am intrested is that it seem to one of the only chainsaw mills that might do QS without too much fuss but I am just guessing.  Also I might be intrested in a used one if somehas outgorwn one.
thanks for the friendly help.
Joe

You guys think I need to move this over to the Milling and saw mills forum?  I haven't had much response over here so far.

Joe;
My guess is nobody has one but it doesn't hurt to bring the topic back to the top of the list.

I bought a timberjig last year from the UK distibutor and have had no problems. It does take some time to set up and involves you  making up a timber guide bar but all the brackets are included in the price. Make sure you use a Chainsaw of at least 4 HP together with a ripping chain.
Have a look at the UK site:-
