Little bugs in my stack of air dried pine

I have some little bugs in my rough cut live edge pine stacked in the yard!

Any ideas on what they are?

 

 



 



 

Sorry about picture quality, they may be about 1/8" to 1/4" long

They are likely a bark beetle.  The lyctid powderpost beetle only likes hardwoods.

they are pretty.  do they taste good!?   :D

Not a bark beetle, I think.Thinking a spring tail, family Entomobryida.  If if jumps.

Doc - Hard to say ... probably take a hundred to make a teaspoon.
