Here's a picture of the JD 555 with a grapple rake up front



Yes I have to come out backwards.  I do go in forwards so there's no need to turn around.  Haven't had traction problems or slippage.   I like the mobility for thinning and minimizing damage.

Further thoughts.  I'm into the JD `18K but I got a 4 in 1 buckeet that I've used for road construction and building ponds.    I'm into the grapple rake for another 2800.  It starts and runs when it should.  Idon't know If I could have got two machines that would be as reliable for the same money.  Hard for me to tell.  I'd llike to have better but this is what would work.
