hello All,
I bought a Husqauvarna 353 a year ago.
I was sharping my chain today and before I got started I flipped it over and cleaned the bottom of saw  with a paper towel before I put it on my work bench.  I noticed I  have a puddle of oil coming from the oiler were it seems to be seapping is this normal ? I have not ran the saw for a week. thanks

I find that sometimes bringing a cold saw into a warm building will cause the oil to warm up and build up enough pressure to push oil out the oiler (leak).

I usually crack open the oil and fuel plug a time or two to relieve the pressure. Often get the sound of "passing air" out indicating some pressure build-up.

May or may not be your problem.

I thinks it's just the nature of a saw to mark it's territory like most of the Harleys I've owned .I've had several automobiles that had the propensity to do that also including a Cadillac which highly annoyed me .
