I just read the Jack Sobon book on timber framing. I know that it goes into some detail of how to finish the home. Is there any other books that add to or improve on the explaination on finishing a timber frame home (electrical, windows, ect.) Thanks to everyone for their help on the subject.

Don't know of any, but would sure be a good topic for someone to write a book with all options of finishing a timber frame.

I have some pictures about how to do electrical.

I show how I enclosed a shed frame with shiplap.

I thought I had some on plumbing, but I can't see them right now.

I"ll look through my pictures and if I find them I'll post them tomorrow.

If you are using sips I'd be glad to answer any questions on wiring, plumbing etc.  I've built two timber frames for my wife and I and we did all the work.
