Looking around for a carlton file o plate and don't see one for 404 chains. I need one for skip tooth chain like on the Lucas mill. Ebay one don't look like ones I've seen before. Who might sell them?

There are some obvious misprints/mistakes in that "screen grab".... :D

Btw, I have seen FOPs with a "hard" and "soft" setting for the depth gauges (rakers), but the one pictured there doesn't seem to have it?

No misprints on the screen grab.
I hunted out my unsold stock of FileOPlates of 2002 vintage. Except for the rust, they are  same as my screen grab

Don't they have the file sizes for 3/8 and 3/8 LP swapped?

I used to sell the 3/8" Chisel A3 for Stihl pro saws and for these I had FoP  #37509
I also had a smaller quantity of their .325" K2 chains for which I had  FoP #32509
This must be before Carlton was taken over by Blount (Oregon, Windsor) (See the address in the picture below)
That might be the reason for the new part nos (in red font).
Because you will notice in this image that the chains sizes and types correspond  to the FoP part number and file sizes correctly.
However, the  FoP in that first screen grab does carry #37509, good for a 3/8" chisel chain.

A bit more than that - it looks like the file size column is inversed all the way.  When that is the case, there could of course be more that is inversed as well...

Do you have a way to check if the part number column is correct or inversed?

Anyway, someone should notify Carlton about the issue, as it is bound to cause some confusion among costumers.

Edit; I sent them a mail about it, maybe others should do as well?
