Those must be a full 2"?  Pine definitely saws better than the  smiley_devil  :-\.
Nope, 1.5x5.5 so that I can still use joist hangers and regular length screws etc

Following with interest, as I too have an oportunity to get some free pine logs.  My buddy has seen them and says they are good - 36" and below with few limbs.  However, I think a lot of them have already been cut to length and may only be 8' long.

For some reason, I just can't get too excited yet.

"Free" pine logs means that you get to spend $5000 to run power to the chicken house so that you can run fans so that the "free" pine boards do not mold and mildew  :).

That would work as long as you did not stop pouring the bleach  :-\.

Looks like you got your trailer fixed up just in time to haul the lumber!  Nice photos, too.

I also got the back stops rigged up on a lever  8) the two backstops are tied together with a chain and two sprockets and I have a long piece of angle iron ran from a lever on one back stop to the lever I built next to the hydraulic controls. Now I just need hydraulic feed (already have most the parts for it), setworks, and an offbearer and I wont have to move  ;D
