Grew up in the fuel business. I would hate to guess the number of tanks I have power washed out over the years. Dry it out real good when done and look inside with a flash light and see how rusted it is. Probably will look ok. I would run a low micron filter after the pump. These newer common rail diesel engines don't like dirt or rust.
