i have a storage unit full of books, clothes And furniture that has gotten moist and mildewed I am thinking of putting them into the kiln to kill any spores and suck the moisture back out of everything. Has anyone ever done this? Do you think 24 hours at 160? With the wb at 75 will do the trick?

Thanks,

I think you will need to run the compressor to actually draw any water out first, then bring it up to 160F with the compressor off to address the mold / spore issue.

Remember thickness and airflow through them will make a difference.

When you have wet material, it's temperature will be at or close to the WB, not the DB.
