Morning,    This summer i got a job out in Montana, being a fishing guide and was wondering since the farthest west i've been is Indiana, if anyone has ever been or stayed at the Flathead Lake Lodge. Just looking for a couple peoples opinion on that part of Montana and the lodge.
THanks

Straubies,
I've never been to Flat Head Lake Lodge but if you
are going to be a fishing guide it sounds as if you have
ended up right in the middle of hog heaven.  I go fly fishing
in Northern New Mexico and all of our guides talk about
going to Montana to fish when they have some time off.
If you haven't seen it already, rent or buy a copy of
the video "A River Runs Through It"  That should get
you all fired up.  Sounds like you are in for a great time.
Good Luck and have fun !   8) 8) 8)

Excellent country! Who will you be guiding for? My son Todd has been a white water and fish guide for Glacer Raft Company out there and for Dillingham Lodge in Alaska since1988.

He's down at Bosman, Montana now attending Montana State, but has his drift boat up at Whitefish.

Also see the movie or video "River Wild" if you haven't already.
