Composting  leaves

I used to have a small yard and I compost I mean I would put my grass cliping and my vegetables scraps (peels, seeds etc.) and leaves Oak Maples, now I have a bigger yard with more leaves, well the compost pile is more leaves then anything, how can I speed up the process?

The composting process takes time. Start with some dirt, layer the leaves; don't make layers too thick, keep moist, and turn material over periodically. The finer the material the quicker the process. You may want to build or use several composting bins on a large area, using the oldest material first etc. More information on composting can be found at http://environment.about.com/library/weekly/aa121700.htm
