LAZERDAN

Well a  beautiful day here in Maine.  Pineland farm,  more like a petting farm zoo.  The ocean is interesting, the tide, we have not seen any water on the beaches yet.  went to Booth Bay very toursty, many yachts, Holly crop Money in Boats is crazy, I didn't know it was Vacation land.  We are here with my wife's work,so I can't say much.  I did learn how to talk the mainer lingo, and boy i'm havin fun with that.  You Mainers seem to have a great state to visit.  Whish we could go further North, and the Islands, wow the most in the U S 3100 or so, and water taxi's.  And one last thing, I Had maul a Lobsta, it was wicked.  It looked bad, like a coon going thru a garbage can, gotta wear a bib, they give you a nut cracka and w little weenie fork, if I would have had a channel lock and and needle nose I could have kicked it's butt.  Saved the body and the whiskers to put in the wife's travel bag, there's gonna be some cool cats following her.    That's all for now, headin for some casino in upstate new York Friday??       Laza dan

Are you going to have time to make it to Mt. Cadillac?
Worth the trip if you have the time.  You can drive up the mountain.  Better than walking in my book. :D

That was wicked!! You're gaining on the Mainer talk. ;D

Staying the night near pemaquid lighthouse...very nice here

Pemaquid,we go down there each year. We drive around and enjoy looking at the ocean. Takes a whole day to get down and back. We take our time and stop at anything we think we will like.

have been away for a good while, just wanted to say that the maine trip was a great time for me and my wife and would highly recommend it to anyone that has the interest to see it. we enjoyed the lighthouses and rocky shoreline for days. best beach I have been to was Hampton beach on the way up the coast. we learned a lot history and met wonderful people along the way. lobstah rolls are very good,i would not advise anyone to miss the experience of mt. caddilac or the acadia national park.

Magicman, head a bit more north to New Brunswick!!

Magicman

Yup, that would be another re-visit.  I suppose everything is a re-visit for us, but that does not mean that we have seen it all.   ;D

We are near the boarder crossing at Houlton, Me  and Woodstock, N.B. so if you are inclined we could probably dust off a spot for a visit.  Hey, Jake found his way up to the farm, near the next boarder crossing north of here Bridgewater, Me and Centreville, N.B. ;D ;)

SwampDonkey you are up there pretty well! I used to stop in at a gas station right at the end of I-95 before it was I-95 in Houlton to gas up my '61 VW bug Friday nights on my way from Limestone to home here in Vermont and back Sunday night about once a month. Those were the days! Was at Loring Air Base Dec. '66 thru Feb. '68. Nice folks around Limestone n Caribou.

The good old days, 60's and 70's before Walmart super centres.  I never heard tell of a Walmart before late 90's and I know a couple that failed around here in less than a year. Target died a quick death to. ;D :D
