I found a brand new 575 husky on line that this guy used once and said it was to much of a saw for him.  He wants 500 dollars for it.  I know nothing about the saw or what its worth?  How does it compare to the 372?

I would pass... imo, they are a pig.
Husky's first attempt at a large emissions saw, it ended up being rather heavy and unwieldly for it's size. A friend has one, I wouldn't want it.

We have one at work and a 372.  The 372 cuts better and is lighter.  $500 is just slightly less than what they cost new ( Ours was $609 ).  If you could get it for $250 then OK, otherwise pass.
