I need some help please. A buddy has a John Deere 648g skidder that the transmission fluid keeps overfilling and the main hyd res will be low. He has already installed a new main pump. Could the brake system be causing this

Yes, when the axle overfills it returns to the transmission.

Go to jdparts.com 648G, difflock , line item 5 will be the hose that dumps to the transmission. Tried to screenshot but could not post a screen shot.
