I just finished this Cedar Pantry which I'll sell at the Fall Festival in October.
A 2' x 2' top and stands 4 foot tall.
The top is made from cookies I sawed from a 4x4.
Sawed the whole thing down to 320 and then buffed with steel wool.
Wiped with 3 coats of Teak Oil. The top has 4 coats of lacquer.
Turned out pretty nice.

I like to copy your simpler ideas. That is way out of my woodworking ability.

Very nice!
Again as I said before I'm glad my wife doesn't shop here cause the goat would be eating my money for dinner. I concur about the book matched doors, very nice touch. I think that top is really cool. Great piece POSTON.
That is fine. The time spent on the fine finish is well worth it because the finish makes it stand out even more.
