conversions

Hi everybody;
  I wondered (being a newbie) if anyone knows what the conversion is from Nm to foot lbs in torque. I'm adding a 7900 jug to my 6400 and don't know how much to tighten down the cylinder bolts. Is this a critical area? Would it be a good idea to use red loctite on the bolts? Everything else seems to be straight foward and am looking foward to seeing the improvement. I've always read good posts on this sight and knew there would be someone out there that could set me straight. Thanks for your help

Yes this is a critical area and no, you don`t want to use red Loctite.

Tighten the bolts evenly, but only snug, don`t put any arm into them.

   I know the red loctite is good for the mufflers but didn't know what other apps it could be used for. Just one more question. Would the cylinder bolts need to be retightened after a certain amount of time on the saw? Thanks,

I would not be a bad idea to check them after a few hours of run time.
