Log bunks

Crossroads

Found a pair of log bunks on Facebook marketplace the other day and got them for $200. I couldn't buy the steel to make one for that price. I'll have to modify them in order to put them on my 14k trailer. I may weld them to side rails, so I can lift them on and off as one unit. Also, I'll shorten them. Right now they are 6-8' tall and I only need them to be about 4'. I won't be able to haul any more logs with the bunks, but it should be more convenient to load them. It will definitely be easier to unload them with the skiddy and forks, having the logs above the fenders. 
With the right fulcrum and enough leverage, you can move the world!

Man that's a great score! Ive had my eye out for a pair for some time. Hope they work out
