Any info on a Husky 66?  I've been searching for days online and can't find info!  A friend gave it to me recently.  It runs strong but needs a new sprocket, and I'm wondering how long a bar I can put on it.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 66 is 66.7cc.
It will handle up to a 34"bar.

::)Yo Kevin. On the lengh of bar for that husky 266,think maybe 34" bar is a little long.I d suggest a 24" but even better a 20".Just add my thoughts from my expertise. My be He should spin the clutch off and see whats on her for a sprocket.7 tooth  work best in hard wood .If cutting soft wood then stay with the 8 tooth check t6he air filtre and discard the screen in the muffler. Good reliable saw. .Just my opion.Have a good day Hawkin..

Thanks for the help so far, guys!  Just to clear it up, it is a 66 and not a 266.  It looks like it could be from the early 80's as the chain stop handle it metal and looks like one of the first ones used.  I'm definately no expert, but it takes a few good STRONG pulls and it seems to have some power.  I'd be ecstatic with a 24" bar along with my 20" Echo.  I just can't figure out why I can't find anything about it on the internet.  Keep 'em coming!

arent the 66 and 266 models generally the same thing engine wise?  They seem to look quite similar in external apearance. If I'm wrong here then oh well, if not  8) I finally learned something.
