Hybrid Water Heater

Does anyone own a hybrid water heater...one of those electric units with the heat pump and traditional heating elements  ???  I'll be needing a new water heater soon, and I've been tossing around the idea of buying one...the operating costs should make up the difference in price in a few years.  My only concern is that our water heater is right below our bedroom, and I'm wondering how loud these units are.  Every time the compressor kicks on in our window A/C unit I wake up   :-\
